About Me

So, a little about me—I’ve always been surrounded by animals. Growing up, I had cats, dogs, and even horses. My love for these amazing creatures has been a constant in my life. Originally wanting to be a vet (but in the end not pursuing that path), I was inspired to major in science in college and beyond, and I’ve worked in science education and communications professionally for many years. I even got to work in pet health and connect with fellow pet enthusiasts like you in citizen science studies that aimed to help all cats through the development of new screening tests for earlier detection of diseases like diabetes in cats. Pretty cool, right?

The Inspiration Behind Purrfectly Enchanting

Purrfectly Enchanting was born from my deep love for cats and plants, combined with my passion for art and design. After years in the scientific field, I started exploring my artistic side, creating designs inspired by the enchanting world of cats and plants. This creative journey led me to launch my Etsy shop, purrfectlyenchanting.etsy.com, where I offer unique gifts and printable products that celebrate the magic of our bean-toed friends and help educate about the leafy non-toxic companions that are safer for them to be around in your home and garden.
